What is the difference between "Save" and "Save As" in Word?

The distinction between "Save" and "Save As" in Word lies in their functions regarding file management. When you use "Save," it updates the currently opened file, preserving any changes you have made since the last save. This action simply overwrites the existing document with the most recent version, maintaining the same file name and location.

On the other hand, "Save As" enables users to create a new file by either changing the file name or selecting a different location on the storage medium.
